Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Praman Network Technology ("Praman Network", "Praman", "we", "us") handles personal data when you use Praman Network.
What we collect
Depending on how you use Praman, we may process account and contact information, professional profile information, education and employment history, project participation, capabilities, applications, referrals, organisation memberships and affiliations, verification claims and evidence, sharing permissions, security/session data, audit records, and support/privacy requests.
Why we use it
We use data to provide and secure your Praman identity, operate organisation and opportunity workflows, enable permissioned discovery and sharing, verify claims, prevent fraud or misuse, communicate service events, support users, honour privacy requests, and maintain trustworthy audit history. Praman does not treat AI-generated output as identity truth.
Visibility and sharing
Private data is not made public merely because it exists in your account. Public professional, project and organisation surfaces are controlled by visibility and verification rules. Share Passport disclosures are scoped to the specific records you approve and may be limited by recipient, expiry and access count. Recruiters do not automatically receive private contact details.
Identity consolidation
Duplicate adult identities can be consolidated after both account owners consent and a second authorised administrator approves. Transferred records become private, existing share links and sessions are revoked, and a restricted audit history records the consolidation. Conflicting records or active guardian responsibilities require support review before a merge.
Service providers
Praman uses infrastructure and service providers to operate the platform, including hosting/database, authentication, private object storage, transactional email and malware scanning. The current vendor inventory is maintained by Praman operations and should match the providers actually enabled in production.
Retention and deletion
We retain information according to its purpose, security needs, legal obligations and trust/audit requirements. Account deletion is a controlled deactivation process: discoverability, active sessions, contact identities, memberships and active shares are revoked, while records that must remain for security, dispute, verification provenance or legal obligations may be retained with access restrictions.
Your requests
Praman provides workflows for access/export, correction and account deletion requests. Some actions may require identity verification or transfer of organisation/platform responsibilities first.
Security
We use server-side authorization, encryption for sensitive contact values, private evidence storage, malware quarantine, short-lived signed file access, scoped organisation permissions, privileged-action approval and audit controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Adults may create a private, guardian-managed identity for a child and invite one other adult Praman member to help manage it. Invitation acceptance allows access to identity basics; access to records and institution permissions requires separate staff verification of each guardian using private, scanned evidence. Verified guardians can request or withdraw a school affiliation. Institutions retain the factual records they issue and keep correction history. Child identities do not have independent sign-in, public profiles, search visibility, social networking or messaging. Family relationship requests are private and do not by themselves grant guardian access. Guardians can request identity corrections through the family workspace or contact support about removal. Once the person is 18, an email-bound, one-day handover invitation lets them claim the same identity; successful acceptance ends guardian access and leaves the adult profile private.
